From June 20 to July 14, 2024, the CONMEBOL Copa America will feature two to three matches at each of the 14 locations spread across the United States. Who is the Copa America 2024 Host?
Ecuador was initially chosen as the host for the 2024 Copa América but later declined. The United States and Peru showed interest in hosting the tournament. In 2024, the US and CONCACAF announced their strategic partnership. Six guest teams from CONCACAF qualified for the tournament by participating in the 2024-25 CONCACAF Nations League.
COPA America 2024 Total Teams
The tournament will have a total of sixteen participating teams, with six coming from CONCACAF and ten from CONMEBOL. All ten national teams of CONMEBOL are eligible to enter the competition. To determine the qualifications of the six participants from CONCACAF, the CONCACAF Nations League in 2024-2025 will be held. The six teams will include the two winners from the play-in round among the four losing quarterfinalists, as well as the four quarterfinal winners from League A.
